You can ask a variety of people about working at UND and you will get just as many answers. That is because UND has a diverse workforce that stretches across the 570 acre campus within the 200 plus departments. Each employee contributes extraordinary talent to the UND community. People like working at UND because of the wonderful benefits including vacation, sick pay, and ten holidays. There is the dependable health insurance, along with the Family EAP Program and the Conflict Resolution Center. We have an internal job-line that allows us to advance within the system. Educational and personal growth opportunities abound through the thousands of free academic and non-academic classes available on campus. Cultural growth opportunities can't be beat when it comes to the annual Writer's Conference, programming at the Chester Fritz Auditorium, exhibits at the North Dakota Museum of Art, and the diverse social functions at the International Centre. One of the most satisfying feelings about working at UND is working with the students. By being a part of this institution we help the students make informed choices, become effective communicators and lifelong learners so that they may provide service to others, and share the responsibility for their community and the world.
