The Student Psychological Association is for all undergraduate students. A psychology major is not required, just an interest in the psychological field. Membership is open to all students. The Association helps students to become acquainted with other students interested in psychology and serves as an important source of informal information about the department and the profession. Activities such as field trips provide opportunities not available through formal classes.
The Association meets every two weeks throughout the school year. Meetings include announcements about psychological events, activities, and opportunities in the psychology department and community, food and drink, and talks by psychologists on a variety of topics.
Outside activities may include going to movies, participating in field trips,
and attending psychological conferences.
Membership dues are $15/year.
