Dagny with Kate Ziegler

I wanted to let you know about what Dagny is doing now....

Dagny made the World Youth Team and is currently swimming in Mexico! I just got a call from my husband and she won the 400 IM. This morning she swam a 4:49 something. Tonight she went a 4:43 something. The 8th place for the final swim in 400 IM at trials was a 4:43 something. If she would have only done it there. Oh well, live and learn. She was pleased with all trial swims so that counts!!

Anyway, she did not swim the prelim 4X200 relay but swam it tonight in finals. Again, USA got GOLD!!

Here is the web site for tracking her swims in Mexico. She will not swim tomorrow. She will swim the 200 back, 200 IM, and 200 Free. She is supposed to swim relays. You may not see her in prelim relays, but finals -- not sure. Feel free to pass along the site.....I could not get all sessions to post....the site is goofy....

Thanks for everyone's support.

ALERT...I just got an text from her. She told me she got to sing the national anthem on the podium twice tonight...let me get a tissue!!

GO USA!!!!

Note on June 26:

She will swim the 400 Im, 200 Free, 200 IM, 100 Free, and possibly the 200 Back.

We would like to thank everyone from all over North Dakota for all the support and well wishes. The North Dakota swimming community is the BEST and we appreciate everyone's concerns and encouragement.

First and foremost, the goal is to make the Olympic Team!!However, this meet serves as a qualifying meet for World Youth Team (age 13 to 17), Jr Pan Pac's (not sure of age) and National Jr Team (thru age 17). Should Dagny make the World Youth team, she will fly from Omaha on 7 July to swim in Monerray Mexico. Jr Pan Pac's are in Guam (not sure of when) and National Jr Team will swim in Vancouver BC (Jan 09).....I think my info is correct.

Again, one last THANK YOU to everyone!!

Take Care!!

Ronda
