We invite you to participate in the 2008 AAG Great Plains - Rocky Mountain Division and ASPRS Upper Midwest Chapter Annual Meeting at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. The meeting will be held at the Memorial Union on the University of North Dakota campus. We welcome paper and poster presentations on any aspect of geography from scholars, teachers, practitioners, and students. We have planned:
▪Keynote speaker: John C. Hudson, Ph.D., Northwestern University ▪Opening reception at the North Dakota Museum of Art ▪Luncheon banquet ▪AAG and ASPRS sponsored concurrent sessions ▪AAG GPRM and ASPRS UMC business meetings ▪Student paper and poster competitions for graduate and undergraduate students. ▪Geography Bowl ▪Field Trips focused on: ▫The intensive agriculture of the Red River Valley ▫The glacial and fluvial geomorphology of the Drift Prairie region ▫Grand Forks area recovery since the 1997 Flood
