Pillar 2 - Education
By virtue of being graduate students, SAS members have an inherent interest in learning. Education plays a vital role in awareness about current issues that affect the field, as well as eases the transition from student to professional.
Things you can expect from SAS:
Professional development workshops at regional events.
Early career counseling psychologists will speak about the transition process at both regional and national events. These individuals will respond to questions from aspiring counselors and help advise the change from the student role to the professional one.
