SAS Mission Statement

The mission of SAS is to foster growth and development of the community of counseling psychology through investment in the four pillars of outreach and mentoring, education, social justice, and diversity.

New SAS Host Institution Named!

The UND Host Committee recently completed an anonymous review of applications and selected the University at Albany, State University of New York. Click here for more information. Congratualations to UAlbany!

Division 17 Recognized for Exemplary Student Involvement!

SAS was recently notified that Division 17 will be recognized by APAGS for exceptional student involvement. Division 17 will be receiving the APAGS DSRN (Division Student Representative Network) Outstanding Division Award.

The award recognizes Division 17 for inclusion of student voices on all committees and the voting seats that have been granted to the SAS Co-Chairs on the DIV 17 Executive Committee. The division will receieve a check for $1500 in recognition of this honor. The award was presented at the APA Convention in Toronto.
