WILLIAM CARAHER: The crucial thing is perceiving a documentary as not separate from the project, but as actually integral to the way in which the project is understood in the future. SCOTT MOORE: It will be a great opportunity to show students back at IUP, on a much larger scale, where I work and what I do. NARRATOR: In the fall of 2004, Dr. William Caraher, a professor at the University of North Dakota, asked one of his graduate students if he’d be interested in using his background in film and history to produce a documentary on an archaeological expedition to Cyprus.
