4. View of the Redwall Limestone, South Rim of the Grand Canyon

The red cliff is the Redwall Limestone (Mississippian) at the top. Below that are the Temple Butte Limestone (Devonian) and the Muav Limestone (Cambrian). The scree slope below the cliffs is the Bright Angel Shale (Cambrian).
