  23. I have distributed a handout with a computer exercise involving Newton's method. If you do not have the handout, come to see me. I will give you a copy of the handout. Please do the exercise in the Math Lab in the basement of Witmer Hall and hand in your computer output by 4:10 P.M. on Tuesday, April 8, 2003. This computer exercise will count as one quiz. Come to see me if you have difficulty with the exercise or with the use of the computer.
