Announcements

The final exam for this course will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. in the usual classroom. You may use pocket calculators on the exam, but you may not use laptop computers, notes, or books on the exam. The final exam will be comprehensive with an emphasis on sections 4.4 through 6.2. We skipped all of Chapter 5. The Central Limit Theorem will not be on the final.

The textbook for this course should be available at the Barnes and Noble bookstore, the Dakota Textbook Company, or from other book distributors (such as Internet-based distributors). Barnes and Noble is located at 775 Hamline Street in Grand Forks. The Dakota Textbook Company is located at 415 North 42nd Street, Grand Forks.

If you go to Barnes and Noble or to the Dakota Textbook Company, it could happen that the textbook is out of stock. If this should happen, then to obtain the book, you may need to talk to someone from the bookstore and ask him or her to order the book for you.
