The final exam for my 12:00 noon section of this course will take place from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 in Witmer Hall, Room 305.

The final exam for my 1:00 P.M. section of this course will take place from 10:15 A.M. to 12:15 P.M. on Friday, May 11, 2007 in Witmer Hall, Room 302.

These rooms are our usual classrooms. The final exam will be comprehensive with a slight emphasis on the material beginning with Section 9.4.

If you go to the Barnes & Noble bookstore to purchase the textbook, it could happen that the textbook is out of stock. If this should happen, then to obtain the book from the bookstore, you may need to talk to the people at the textbook counter and ask them to order the book for you. The textbook may also be available at the Dakota Textbook Company, 415 North 42nd Street, Grand Forks, or from other book distributors (such as an Internet-based distributors).

    Notes: For the definite integrals in problems 25 and 26, do not use Simpson's rule. Rather, use the numerical integration capability of Mathematica or a graphing calculator. If you use a graphing calculator, set the calculator to radian mode. I have prepared a Mathematica notebook which explains how to use the numerical integration feature of Mathematica. Let me know if you have any difficulty.
