Chapter 10 Assignments, Grade Allocation, and Due Dates
All items except for the duet are to be recorded on computer disk and handed in together with your track listing by the dates listed below. You should also be prepared to play any of these assignments "live" for your instructor.
Assignment 5	Transposition:     THREE DUOS, p. 274
	Improvisation :      Play the A section of BURLESKE, p. 275 as written (with repeat), then substitute an improvised B section with a return to the written A. You may wish to retain Mozart's bass line for the B section and improvise only melodic material. 40 points Due October 4th
Assignment 6	Repertoire:     LEMONADE, pp. 266-267 or PLEASANT MORNING, pp. 268-269. 50 points Due October 11th
Assignment 7	Repertoire:     GIGUE, pp. 279-281 or BLUES MOTIF, pp. 282-283 50 points Due October 23rd
Assignment 8	Duet Repertoire:     ALLEGRO in E MINOR, pp. 276-277 Note: With your duet partner decide on the part you will play (Primo or Secondo). Learn ONLY that part. This piece does not need to be recorded and submitted on disk. You will perform it "live" in class with your partner. 60 points Due October 25th
