General Comments: This piece is an old standard that is not performed as much today as it should be. Exciting rhythms especially in the upper brasses along with a lively melody make this piece very pleasurable to listen to as well as to play. Full scoring gives the band security on melody lines but it is not doubled so much that it sounds "muddy".
