| General Comments: | A song taken from Seoul, Korea it provides the theme for five variations. The first variation brings out the percussion and woodwinds. The second variation is quiet with an inverted version of the melody found in the oboe. The third is a fast march while the fourth is richly scored and very contemplative. The fifth variation uses a wide selection of variations, and in parts of this movement the original theme can be heard in some of the parts. | |
