General Comments: Three Gaybriellos is a trumpet trio with a big band style accompaniment. The opening is a blues played in tight harmony by the trio. Shakes and glissandos ornament this section with style. The second section is a fast swing with a light accompaniment in the band. Throughout this piece it is important to remember style. This piece is reminiscent of the old dance band style of music. Although quite simple for the band, you need three really good trumpets.
