| General Comments: | The Syncopated Clock is a great piece for lower level bands. It allows students to have fun while learning the elementary principles of straccato, syncopation, and keeping time. This particular piece provides a very steady, metromomic beat for the students, and is a solid foundation for learning syncopation. Because percussion has a vey prominent place in keeping the tempo of this piece, it is especially good for beginning to intermediate junior high percussionists. | |
