General Comments:	Pageantry Overture was published in 1970. Development in each section of the piece is limited to one main theme making this an excellent choice in the band repertoire for teaching about monothematic material. The brass are featured in the opening, thematic statement. The musical lines are well-crafted, and the interpretations are refreshing!
