| General Comments: | This is a beautiful piece for beginning band, and gives young players a great opportunity at playing a piece with oriental flavor. The melodies are simple and flowing, and the rhythms are in no way intricate. The range for the instruments is certainly playable. The spice of Korean Folk Rhapsody is the percussion parts. Cymbals, wind chimes, vibes, and timpani round out the style, providing a wonderful chance for new players to gain extra experience. | |
