| General Comments: | This is an arrangement of the traditional Christmas hymn, Joy to the World. The piece starts with a bell like fanfare of fourths and fifths leading into the first statement of the melody in the trombone, horn, baritone, and tenor sax. The piece then modulates into A flat and a variation of the melody is played. The piece then returns to E flat for the duration. The piece ends with a clever variation of the melody that is almost fugue like. |
