| General Comments: | The percussion in this piece will catch your attention right away. An exciting snare drum part dominates the first part of the piece. The melody for the first part is in the flute, trumpet, and bells. The middle section of the piece uses the 1st trumpet on the melody from the beginning with a nice harmony in the second part. The piece ends as it began except there is more emphasis on the melody than on the percussion. Nice melody and exciting percussion make this piece worth trying with a young band. |
