| General Comments: | An Echo of the Infinite is a wonderfully written piece for a developing band. Doubling is still apparent to provide safe scoring but there is some independance. The piece starts with a descending scale motif that returns throughout the piece. In the "B" section of the piece there is a solo trumpet part that uses a different melody than the beginning. The first melody comes back in the recapitulation section. |
