| General Comments: | This piece will challenge your students in many ways. The beginning has a big chromatic passage in the flute and oboe line while the cornets play a jazz-like line under it. There are many triplets but many of them are in repeated passages that should help your students better grasp the rhythms. This piece has chords that will challenge your students ears, and should not only be enjoyable for the students to play but also for the crowd to listen to. | |
