Title: Agnus Dei (from Requiem)
Level: Grade II/III
Composer/Arranger: Gabriel Faure/Arr. Frank Erickson
Publisher: Belwin Mills
Classification: Requiem
Instrumentation: Ordinary
Source: Popplers music score
General Comments: From one of the most Romantic of all choral music comes a beautiful arrangement taken from the Requiem. The Agnus Dei is quite representational of the whole work in style characteristics. Clarinets and flutes have the moving lines at the beginning and eventually the rest of the woodwinds join in. The piece should be taken at a "somber" Andante.
