Take a look at
The Environment of the Week
6/15/98

We continue this week with another look at this alpine glacier in Grindelwald, Switzerland. The ice at this point has been carved out to allow for tour groups to view the interior of the glacier. This also allows scientists access to the interior of the glacier to study different attributes and characteristics of the glacier.

Help us update the information on the geology and scenery of the Environment of the Week. We would love your information and would like to acknowledge you.
