Tracy Ankeny, Nebraska-Omaha; Michelle Hoffner, Northern Colorado

Junior outside hitter Tracy Ankeny of Nebraska-Omaha and senior setter Michelle Hoffner of Northern Colorado have been named the North Central Conference Player of the Week by the conference office. Ankeny, a native of Dixon, Neb., averaged 5.4 kills and 5.2 digs per game while hitting .430 as the Mavericks downed South Dakota State and Augustana. Ankeny set career-high marks with 35 kills and 30 digs against South Dakota State. Hoffner, a native of Ault, Colo., averaged 16.4 assists and 3.4 digs per game and hit at a .429 clip as the Bears defeated Augustana and South Dakota State. Hoffner set a new school record with 79 assists against Augustana.
