The following is an example of the components of a curriculum vitae.  A curriculum vitae is developed over your entire professional career.  You may not have some of these items at this time, so omit them until you do have those experiences.  Length is not an issue with a curriculum vitae, they can be 1 page or several pages.

1. Name/Professional Address/Home Address, Phone number/Fax, Email (Things like sex/date of
    birth/marital status are okay but do not get too personal, e.g. James Dean fan)

2.  Educational History (Degree/Subject/Date)
    A.  Listing of Undergraduate GPA/ Last 2 years or Psychology GPA is okay
    B.  Listing Graduate GPA is okay.

3.  Professional Honors

4. Appointments (Academic/Professional/Research Assistantship Experience/Teaching Assistantship
    Experience)

5. Grants (Funded ones only/Agency/Amount)
        A.  Do not list ones submitted but not funded.

6. Publications (Journal articles/book chapter: Note any in unrefered journals)
        A.  Use latest APA format whenever possible.

7. Conference presentations/published abstracts

8. Manuscripts/Conference presentations under review

9. Courses taught (number/where) indicate that ratings are available if needed

10. Committee Memberships
        A. Honors Thesis
        B.  Masters Thesis
        C. Dissertations

11. Service (Academic/community/local/national/international)

12. Invited colloquia

13. Computer skills

14. Memberships (Professional/local/national/international)

15. Teaching/research interests

16. List of references (names/address/phone numbers/fax numbers/internet addresses)
