SERVICE TO SCHOOLS

2006 Organized and supervised the Market Place for Kids: Growing Young Entrepreneur’s Program. The theme for the 2006 year was “The Magic of Entrepreneurship.” I worked with the Grand Forks Public Schools and my Spring 2006 Elementary Education Social Studies method class to prepare all fifth and sixth grade students in the Grand Fork’s School District who chose to participate in this voluntary Market Place for Kids Growing Young Entrepreneur’s Program project.

2006 Proposal accepted for the Action Research Scholar’s Program, a part of the Rose Isabelle Kelly Fischer Grant, to work with Dr. Geoffrey Mills. He is the Dean of the College of Education at Southern Oregon University, and an internationally recognized authority on action research.  October 2006
