4th Annual Mini-Society® Young Entrepreneur Camp - June 1 - 12, 2009
Mini-Society Entrepreneur Summer Camp is not a simulation or a game - it's real!
In Mini-Society, kids open their own real businesses, establish their own real town, elect their own leaders and create their own real money system. Kids are the entrepreneurs, business owners and leaders in their own town.
We will meet and learn from local entrepreneurs and city leaders. We will explore campus and learn how creative ideas become real products. We WILL have fun!
Teachers and other adults may sign up for 2 Graduate Credits in Entrepreneurship Education. They will have fun, too!

26th Annual International Aerospace Camp 1 - June 21 - 28, 2009
The University of North Dakota's International Aerospace Camp is a full week of aviation adventure! This "college seminar" is similar to attending a week of actual college. Additionally, what makes this seminar unique is the amount of flight training each student receives. We are very interested in students who truly want to experience collegiate aviation. Your counselors, flight instructors and professors are leaders in aerospace education. You'll start with the basics of flying, experience new and exciting technology and explore career opportunities in aerospace. You will be introduced to the complete spectrum of the industry.

Summer Art Camp - Making Prints (6 - 13 year olds) - June 29 - July 3, 2009
Printing is a process where students will use inks and paint to create prints. No experience is necessary as we explore many kinds of prints, block printing, potato stamping, silk screening and many more ways to make more-than-one-of-a-kind artwork.

Summer Art Camp - Close-Up Painting (13 years and older) - July 6 - 10, 2009
Using the work of artist Chuck Close as a starting point, students will learn to make their own realistic paintings using Close's technique, one which he developed and still uses despite his struggle with a debilitating disease. This camp also has an option for campers who travel a distance to stay in residence halls on campus for the week.

Summer Art Camp - Life as an Artist (6 - 13 year olds) - July 13 - 17, 2009
Adam Kemp will bring a mix of fun and education into this camp. He will assist kids to make and paint art creations using discarded and found objects - but don't hold us to just that. Anything goes in Adam's camps!

Foreign Language Day Camp (10-13 year olds) - July 13 - 17, 2009

cScibot Lego Intro Camp - July 20 - 24, 2009
The cScibot camp will place participants ages 10-14 in a fun and exciting setting where they will build and program LEGO Mindstorm robots. With help from faculty and students majoring in computer science, participants will learn to program their robot to accomplish a challenging series of activities. THIS CAMP IS FULL!

Students will be using primarily recycled or "green" materials. Dying, making paint, using fabrics, paint, papers and found objects will be the focus of this camp.

Classes to be offered in alternative energy engineering, microbiology, biomedical engineering, geography, and atmospheric science. Morning classes will be designed for grades 5-7, afternoon classes will be for grades 1-4. Classes limited to 20.
