Athletic Youth Camps 2009

Junior High Football Camp - May 18 - 19, 2009

(Grades 6-7)

Campers will develop football skills including passing, catching, puting, kicking, tackling and blocking.

Swim North Dakota
May 25 - June 4, June 8 - 18, June 22 - July 2, July 6 - 16

Swim North Dakota is open to the general public. Children 4 years old and up from beginner to advanced swimming skills can be part of the program. Swim North Dakota uses a station method of teaching with a small student to instructor ratio. They will advance through the different swimming levels, as the child's swimming skills improve.

Summer Boys & Girls Evening Soccer Camp - June 1 - 4, 2009

Our camp is designed to help you improve your technical ability (dribbling, passing, shooting, heading, etc.) in a fun and positive learning environment. It is open for boys and girls between the ages of 5-13. These skills will be taught to the players through exciting exercises, games and contests.

Boy's Basketball Future Sioux Camp - June 8 - 11, 2009

(Grades 1-3, 9-11:30 a.m. Grades 4-7, 1-3:30 pm)

This basketball camp is designed for boys grades 1-7 to teach the fundamentals of shooting technique, ball handling and passing. Fun contests and awards each day. Perfect for beginners!

North Dakota Swim Technique/Training Camp 1 - June 7 - 12, 2009

This camp is designed to give each individual a good foundation in swimming fundamentals, working on stroke, techniques, starts and giving special attention to turns. At the end of each day, we will have a challenging set to finish the day. For ages 7 years to high school seniors.

Boy's Basketball High School Team Camp (overnight camp) - June 13 - 14, 2009

This basketball camp is designed for varsity and JV divisions. Guaranteed six games, situational, two minute tournament Friday night, 32 spots, space is limited.

Boy's Basketball Player Development Camp (Grades 8 - 12) - June 14 - 16, 2009

This overnight basketball camp is designed to provide position-specific instruction, including ball handling, passing, shooting, post moves, perimeter 1-on-1 moves, rebounding and defense. Individual instruction on skill work combined with competitive games and contests.

This one week camp promotes an emphasis on good sportsmanship and on small group instruction. Four different age groups: 18-under, 15-under, 12-under & 10-under.

The first passing camp of its kind in the region. Limited to first 16 teams to register. Professional instruction will be provided at all times.

This girls basketball camp for high school teams with their coaches. There will be six games, instruction session, optional film session and a tour of the Ralph Englestad Arena and Betty Englestad Sioux Center.

Boy's Basketball Shooting/Competition Camp (Grades 5-12) - August 2 - 4, 2009

This basketball camp, for boys entering 5-12 grade, will work to make your son a better shooter. The camp will focus on the shooting fundamentals including shooting technique, footwork, moving without the basketball, and shooting on the pass or dribble. Games will also be played to incorporate the shooting skills.
