Sociology Department
Newsletter Volume 2, Fall 2007
Notes from the Chair
There is a lot that we are proud of in this issue of the newsletter. Our students have been more involved in professional activities than ever and have won some impressive awards. I am also pleased to announce that we hired Dr. Krista Lynn Minnotte to fill our open faculty position. She is teaching introduction to sociology, juvenile delinquency and a graduate seminar this year. We were also able to retain Mr. Robert West as an adjunct to teach statistics for the year.
If you are an alumnus of our department, we would love to hear what you are doing so we can share this information with others. If you happen to be in Grand Forks , please stop by the office for a visit. The coffee pot is always on.
