Check out the basic UND transfer student facts
Engineering transfer students have been a very successful and valued addition to our School. We work closely with many transfer students and their transfer institutions to accomodate a variety of educational paths toward an undergradute engineering degree. We work with several partner two-year colleges to establish transfer agreements and dual degree programs for students wishing to complete an engineering degree. Most students completing a pre-engineering curriculum are ready to enter as a 3rd year (junior) engineering student into our programs.
We are committed to making the process of transferring to our engineering departments as straight-forward as possible. To simplify the process of transferring credits, we have many active articulation agreements with institutions across the country. Many of these agreements are available at the links below. If you have credits from an institution not on the list or you have questions regarding courses that may not be included in our transfer agreement or our curriculum, you are asked to forward a transcript to the engineering department you wish to enter. The faculty transfer advisor will review your credits and let you know exactly where you need to get started on your path to a UND engineering degree.
