Minutes of the University Curriculum Committee

December 9, 2004

1. A meeting of the University Curriculum Committee was held on Thursday, December 9, Room 303, Twamley Hall. Tom Zeidlik presided. Those present were Connie Borboa, Mary Cutler, Mary Drewes, Connie Gagelin, Jim Haskins, Roxanne Hurley, David Relling, Sandra Short, and Tom Zeidlik.

2. Minutes for November 18, 2004. Jim Haskins moved to approve the minutes from November 18. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

3. Jim Haskins moved to remove the Forensic Science changes from the table. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

Tom Zeidlik presented Anth 270, 439 and 497 new courses requests; Anth 440 course deletion request and Forensic Science change in program requirements request and moved approval of all. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

4. David Relling presented PA 580, 588, 589 and 599 course change requests and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

5. Mary Cutler presented the Master of Science in Physics change in program requirements request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

6. Sandra Short presented T&L 543 course deletion request and T&L 313, 328, 335, 409, 410, 411, 412, 413, 414, and 415 course change requests and moved approval of all. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

7. Roxanne Hurley presented B.S. in Nursing change in program requirements request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

8. The meeting adjourned at 3:20.
