Minutes of the University Curriculum Committee

March 25, 2004

1. A meeting of the University Curriculum Committee was held on Thursday, March 25, in Twamley Hall, Room 305. Chuck Moretti presided.

2. Those present were Connie Borboa, Mary Cutler, Mary Drewes, Jim Haskins, Evelyn Labun, Chuck Moretti, Tim O'Keefe, Ralph Woehle and Tom Zeidlik.

3. Minutes for March 11, 2004. Chuck Moretti moved to approve the minutes from March 11. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

4. Tim O'Keefe and Jim Haskins presented ISYS 217 course deletion request, ISYS 117 and 317 new course requests, ISYS 260 and 305 course change requests, Pre-Business, Minor in Information Systems, Information Systems, Business Education, and Vocational Marketing Education change in program requirements requests. Jim Haskins moved to approve all of the requests. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

5. Chuck Moretti presented Engr 999 new course request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

6. Ralph Woehle presented T&L 443 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

7. Ralph Woehle presented Recreation and Leisure Services Major change in program requirements request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

8. Jim Haskins moved to table the Physician Assistant change in program requirements requests until the next meeting. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

9. Evelyn Labun presented School of Medicine and Health Sciences Neuroscience department change in department title request. Jim Haskins moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

10. Mary Cutler presented Comm 570 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

11. Meeting adjourned at 3:40.
