Minutes of the University Curriculum Committee

April 23, 2007

1. A meeting of the University Curriculum Committee was held on Monday, April 23, 2007, Carnegie Hall, Room 102. David Relling presided. Those present were Suzanne Anderson, Connie Borboa, Matt Cavalli, Connie Gagelin, Devon Hansen, Roxanne Hurley, Assion Lawson-Body, David Relling, Charlie Robertson and Sandra Short.

2. April 16 minutes. Connie Gagelin moved to approve the minutes. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

3. Sandra Short presented Early Childhood Education change in program requirements request and T&L 451, 314, 312, 320, 453, 454 and 423 course change requests; T&L 253, 339, 251 new course requests.

Sandra Short moved to table the Early Childhood Education change in program requirements request pending receipt of additional information.

**September 6, 2007 Glenn Olsen asked that this request be returned to the department as additional changes will be made.

Sandra Short moved to approve T&L 320 course change request and T&L 339 new course request pending clarification of the requests. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried with 7 in favor of and 1 opposed.

Sandra Short moved to approve T&L 312, 314, 423, 451, 453 and 454 course change requests. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

Connie Gagelin moved to table T&L 251 and 253 new course requests pending the receipt of information regarding course duplication and remedial content. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

**August 29, 2007 Glenn Olsen asked that T&L 251 and 253 be returned to the department. He is withdrawing the requests.

4. Assion Lawson-Body presented Management 397, 474, 489 and 497 course change requests and moved approval of all. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

5. Assion Lawson-Body presented Master of Business Administration change in program requirements request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

6. The meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
