Minutes of the University Curriculum Committee

January 19, 2006

1. A meeting of the University Curriculum Committee was held on Thursday, January 19, Room 404, Twamley Hall. David Relling presided. Those present were Connie Borboa, Matthew Cavalli, Connie Gagelin, Roxanne Hurley, Assion Lawson-Body, John Madden, Kanishka Marasinghe, and David Relling.

2. Minutes December 8. Kaniska Marasinghe moved to approve the minutes from the December 8 meeting. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

3. John Madden and Kaniska Marsinghe presented the minor in American Sign Language change in program requirements request and CSD 344 new course request. Discussion. John Madden withdrew the requests. Kaniska Marsinghe moved to return the requests to the department. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

4. Matt Cavalli presented CHE 340 new course request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

5. Matt Cavalli presented Engr 200 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

6. David Relling presented MED 100 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

7. The meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
