of the University Curriculum Committee
1. A meeting of the
University Curriculum Committee was held on Thursday, September 18, Memorial
Union, Prairie Room. Charlie Robertson presided. Those present were Suzanne
Anderson, Connie Borboa, Kate Campbell, Connie Gagelin, Bonni Gourneau, Devon
Hansen, Naima Kaabouch, Charlie Robertson and Liz Tyree. Gail Ingwalson
attended as guest.
2. Minutes April 17. Connie
Gagelin moved to approve the minutes.
The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried with one abstention.
3. Election of Vice Chair.
Liz Tyree was nominated. Bonni Gourneau moved nominations seize. The motion was
seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously. The Committee voted and approved
Liz Tyree as Vice Chair with one abstention.
4. Committee assignments.
Charlie Robertson moved to approve the committee assignment list as presented.
The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
5. Bonni Gourneau
presented BS Ed with Combined Major in Elementary and Middle Level Education
program termination request. Connie Gagelin moved to table the request. The
motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
6. Bonni Gourneau
presented UND Undergraduate Teacher Education change in program requirements
request (GPA) and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and
carried unanimously.
7. Kate Campbell presented
Marketing 405 and 430 new course requests and Marketing change in program
requirements request and moved approval of all. The motion was seconded, voted
upon and carried unanimously.
8. Physician Assistant
change in program requirements request; PA 580, 550, 560, 510, 511, 515, 516,
540, 541, 551, 561, 565, 585, 995 course change requests. Liz Tyree moved to
approve all of the requests. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried
unanimously.
9. Liz Tyree presented
Geol 205 new course request. Liz Tyree moved to table the request. The motion
was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
