of the University Curriculum Committee
1. A meeting of the
University Curriculum Committee was held on Friday, November 17, Room 305, Twamley
Hall. David Relling presided. Those
present were Suzanne Anderson, Connie Borboa, Matt Cavalli, Mary Drewes, Connie
Gagelin, Wendy Hume, Roxanne Hurley, Cindy Juntunen, Assion Lawson-Body, David
Relling, Charlie Robertson, and Sandra Short.
2. November 3 minutes. Charlie
Robertson moved to approve the November 3 minutes. The motion was seconded,
voted upon and carried with one abstention.
3. Wendy Hume and Matt
Cavalli presented Ph.D. in Criminal Justice change in program requirements
request and CJ 520 and 526 new course requests.
Matt Cavalli moved to approve all of the requests. The motion was
seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
4. Cindy Juntunen
presented the Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology change in program requirements
request. Sandra Short moved approval. The
motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
5. David Relling presented
Hist 349 and 424 new course requests and moved approval of all. The motion was
seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
6. David Relling presented
Psyc 494, 492, 465 and 421/521 course change requests; Psyc 294 new course
request; and B.A. with a major in Psychology change in program requirements
request.
Charlie Robertson moved to
approve Psyc 494, 492, 465 course change requests; Psyc 294 new course request;
and B.A. with a major in Psychology change in program requirements request
The motion was seconded,
voted upon and carried unanimously.
David Relling moved to
table Psyc 421/521 course change requests. The motion was seconded, voted upon
and carried unanimously.
7. Charlie Robertson
presented Avit 221, 244, 245, 261, 302, 325, 362, 363, 415, 429, 465 and 468
course change requests and moved approval of all. The motion was seconded,
voted upon and carried unanimously.
8. Assion Lawson-Body
presented Minor in Technolgoy Education program termination and moved approval.
The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
9. Roxanne Hurley
presented CSD 580 new course request and moved approval. The motion was
seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
10. The meeting adjourned
at 9:40 a.m.
