Minutes of the University Curriculum Committee

April 15, 2004

1. A meeting of the University Curriculum Committee was held on Thursday, April 15, in Twamley Hall, Edna Twamely Room. Judy Bruce presided.

2. Those present were Connie Borboa, Judy Bruce, Mary Cutler, Jim Haskins, Nancy Krogh, Mary Anne Laxen, Ralph Woehle and Tom Zeidlik.

3. Minutes for April 8, 2004. Jim Haskins moved to approve the minutes from March 25. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

4. Mary Cutler presented Anth 441 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

5. Jim Haskins moved to remove the Physician Assistant requests from the table.

The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

Mary Anne Laxen and Judy Bruce presented the Physician Assistant change in program requirements request and PA 510, 515, 520, 525, 540, 550, and 560 course change requests. Judy Bruce moved to approve the request. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried with one opposed.

6. Jim Haskins moved to remove the B.S. with a major in Geography change in program requirements request from the table.

Tom Zeidlik moved to return the B.S. with a major in Geography change in program requirements request to the department until such time as the department resubmits a completed request. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

7. Meeting adjourned at 3:30.
