1. A meeting of the University Curriculum Committee was held on Thursday, March 13, in Room 305, Twamley Hall. Doug Marshall presided.

2. Those present were Connie Borboa, Judy Bruce, Mary Drewes, Daniel Erickson, Sara Hanhan, Jim Haskins, Nancy Krogh, Doug Marshall, Chuck Moretti, and Ralph Woehle.

3. Jim Haskins moved to approve the minutes from the February 27 meeting. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

4. Jim Haskins moved to approve the clerical changes made to the recently approved Nonprofit Leadership new program request. The motion was seconded, voted upon, and carried unanimously.

5. Chuck Moretti presented the Criminal Justice PhD change in program requirements request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon, and carried unanimously.

6. Chuck Moretti presented Badm 597 new course request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon, and carried unanimously.

7. Chuck Moretti presented the Master of Arts in Geology, Master of Science in Geology and Doctor of Philosophy in Geology change in program requirements request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon, and carried unanimously.

8. Chuck Moretti presented Coun 518, 568, 569, 580 and 583 course change requests.

Chuck Moretti moved to approve Coun 518. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

9. Chuck Moretti presented the Master's in Counseling and PhD in Counseling Psychology change in program requirements request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

10. Doug Marshall presented CSci 537 course change request. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

11. Doug Marshall presented CSci 543, 546, 551, 565 and 566 course change requests.

Doug Marshall moved to approve CSci 543. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

12. Doug Marshall presented CSci 562 new course request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

13. Doug Marshall presented Computer Science Master's degree change in program requirements request, replacing CSci 536 with CSci 565 in core, and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon, and carried unanimously.

14. Doug Marshall presented Computer Science Master's degree change in program requirements request, name and requirements for Applied Computing Track, and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

15. Doug Marshall presented Nurs 392 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried with one abstention.

16. Doug Marshall presented Nurs 440 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

17. Doug Marshall presented CLS 126, 300, 400, 401 and 402 course deletion requests and CLS 399 course change request and moved approval of all.

The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

18. Doug Marshall presented CLS 508 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

19. Daniel Erickson presented T&L 513 and 523 course deletion requests and T&L 553 course change request and moved approval of all with the change of credits from 2 to 3 for T&L 553. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

20. Daniel Erickson presented T&L 556 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

21. Daniel Erickson presented CJ 501, 502, 503, 521, 530, 550 and 561 course change requests and moved approval of all. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

22. Daniel Erickson presented the Department of Industrial Technology change in department title request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

23. Judy Bruce moved to remove T&L 400 course change request from the table. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

24. Judy Bruce presented Atsc 515 course change request and Atsc 540 new course request and moved approval of both. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

26. Judy Bruce presented Atsc 525 and 535 course change requests and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

28. Judy Bruce presented Atsc 595 course change request. Jim Haskins moved to table the request pending clarification of credits. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

30. Judy Bruce presented Atsc 528, 545 and 553 new course requests and moved approval of all. The motion was seconded, voted upon, and carried unanimously.

32. Ralph Woehle presented the Educational Foundations and Research/Teaching and Learning change in program requirements request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

33. Ralph Woehle presented Musc 502 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

34. Ralph Woehle presented Musc 599 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

35. Ralph Woehle presented Musc 509 new course request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried with one abstention.

36. Ralph Woehle presented Musc 997 new course request. Jim Haskins moved to table the request pending clarification of information. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

38. Ralph Woehle presented the Master in Music with Music Education Specialization change in program requirements request. Jim Haskins moved to table the request. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
