1.
A
meeting of the University Curriculum Committee was held on Thursday, October
10, in Room 305, Twamley Hall. Doug Marshall presided.
2.
Those
present were Connie Borboa, Judy Bruce, Mary Drewes, Daniel Erickson, Jim
Haskins, Nancy Krogh, Evelyn Labun, Doug Marshall, Charles Moretti, and Ralph
Woehle.
3.
Jim
Haskins moved to approve the minutes from the September 12 meeting. The motion
was seconded, voted upon, and carried unanimously.
4.
Charles
Moretti presented Program Terminations for the Integrated Master of Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering and for
the Integrated BS/MS program in Chemical Engineering. Jim Haskins moved to
approve all of the requests. The motion
was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
5.
Jim
Haskins moved to remove the Clinical Lab Science change in program requirements
request from the table. The motion was
seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
Doug Marshall presented the new information for the Clinical Lab Science
request. Jim Haskins moved to approve
the request. The motion was seconded,
voted upon, and carried unanimously.

Doug
Marshall presented Coun 531 and 569 course change requests and moved
approval. The motion was seconded,
voted upon, and carried unanimously.
7.
Doug
Marshall presented PPT 492 and 499 course change requests. Jim Haskins moved to approve the requests.
The motion was seconded, voted upon, and carried unanimously.
8.
Evelyn
Labun presented the change in specialization title-Mental Health Nursing and
Nurs 540 and 541 course change requests and moved approval. The motion was
seconded, voted upon, and carried unanimously.
9.
Daniel
Erickson presented the B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a Computer Science
Focus change of program requirements request.
Jim Haskins moved to approve the request. The motion was seconded, voted
upon, and carried unanimously.
10.Daniel Erickson presented EE
206,313,314,316,318,321,401,402,403,405,409, 421,423,424,428,451,452,456,480
course change requests. Jim Haskins moved
to approve all of the requests. The motion was seconded, voted upon, and
carried unanimously.
11.Judy Bruce presented the
B.S. in Chemical Engineering and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted
upon, and carried unanimously.
12.Judy Bruce presented the ME
464 new course request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon,
and carried unanimously.
13.Ralph Woehle presented the
ISBE 503,505,536,539,and 591 course deletion requests and ISBE 540,541,580,595,
and 596 course change requests and moved approval of all requests. The motion was seconded, voted upon, and
carried unanimously.
14.The meeting adjourned at
4:40.
