B.S. in Biology (including
pre-health science emphasis) Level II proficiency in foreign language was
dropped from the cognate requirements; courses in public speaking and
statistics were added to the cognate requirements; three options within the
B.S. in Biology were created to guide students: General Biology; Molecular,
Cellular and Developmental Biology; Ecology and Evolutionary Biology; list of
advanced courses for the two programs was expanded from 8 to 12 credits; three
credits Senior Capstone Seminar is now required for all B.S. in Biology
programs
Minor in Biology
requirements were clarified: students completing the minor are now assured of
exposure to advanced core courses in both molecular and organismal biology
