Newman House

Our Mission:
Under the patronage of Mary, our Model and Mother, the Newman House strives to discover and foster the call of women to be daughters, brides and friends of God within His Family, the Church.

What We Offer:
The Newman House is located on the campus of the University of North Dakota. It is dedicated to providing a Catholic culture for the women of UND. It is a place for women to feel known, loved, and cared for while helping them to foster a true femininity as daughters of God.

The house is spacious and fully furnished with double rooms and shared common spaces in a home style atmosphere.

Amenities include:

  • Cable TV service in Lounge
  • Wireless internet
  • A piano
  • Comfortable student lounges and Library
  • Free Laundry Facilities
  • Student parking across the street
  • Excellent on-campus location

The Newman House:

    • Promotes spiritual growth through Bible studies, prayer, devotions, and fellowship
    • Supports both Catholic and non-Catholic college women in their academic endeavors, as well as in their spiritual lives
    • Has a priest and staff available to provide spiritual guidance, support, and a faith-filled perspective in a caring and dynamic environment
    • Offers social activities, service projects, Catholic formation and more!
