Who Can Use the Collection

The Special Learners Collection is available free within North Dakota, and designated areas of South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana and Canada. Items from the collection can be borrowed by:
  • schools
  • parents
  • organizations
interested in the needs of students in this region. This service is sponsored by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction's Special Education Unit. The collection is managed by the University of North Dakota Chester Fritz Library through a grant from the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction.

Types of Materials

The Special Learners Collection includes a variety of materials useful to educators, including videotapes, games, manuals, and classroom activity sets.
