ACQUISITION: This addition to the Grand Forks Metropolitan Opera House Records was deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection by Sandy Slater, Department Head, Elwyn B. Robinson Department of Special Collections in the Fall of 1999 (Acc.#99-2397).

ACCESS: Open for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the Grand Forks Metropolitan Opera House Records consists of an original program from the 1908 Syttende Mai festival, held at the Opera House. The festival celebrated Norwegian Independence Day. The vast majority of the program consists of advertisements, although there is a list of both performers and selections.
