ACQUISITION: This addition to the Usher L. Burdick Papers was deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection on June 14, 1999 (Acc.#99-2309). The material was found in the Chester Fritz Library Storeroom.
ACCESS: Available for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.
This addition to the Usher L. Burdick Papers consists of a 1937 certificate given to Usher Burdick by the United States Constitution Sesquicentennial Commission. The certificate was given to Burdick in appreciation of his "patriotic participation" in the Sesquicentennial Celebration of the U.S. Constitution. The certificate is 17 inches long by 30 inches wide, and was placed in the Oversize File Cabinets.
