ACQUISITION: This addition to the Usher L. Burdick Papers was deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection by Eugene Burdick, Williston, North Dakota, on August 18, 1998 (Acc.#98-2231).

ACCESS: Available for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the Usher L. Burdick Papers consists of two undated notebooks. Each notebook is 7 inches long by 4 inches wide, and is bound in beige colored boards. The first notebook is entitled "Early Day Lawyers," and contains notes written by Usher Burdick about several judges and lawyers he knew. The second notebook is entitled "Notes on Western Memories," and details incidents in the lives of several Western pioneers.
