STAGENet (State Technology Access for Government and Education Network) is the new name for the statewide network using the following logo:
STAGENet supports state and county government, state agencies, K12, and Higher Education. The North Dakota University System is represented in all levels: executive, management and technical.
Two Sprint Internet1 OC3 links (one in Bismarck and one in Fargo) to STAGENet will be operational this fall. This will increase the capacity of Internet1 from the current 105 Mbps to a total of 310 Mbps. It also will provide for fail-over in the event of a link failure on either side of the state.
