Student Technology Fee has once again funded new machines for our Computer Learning Lab (CLL) located at the Memorial Union. This year 24 Dell's were purchased with the following specifications: all machines are 1.9 GHZ P4's and have 250 MB zip drives, CDRW drives, floppies, and 40 GB hard drives.
Software changes are also being made this Fall. All machines in both the CLL and at our general purpose computing area at the Chester Fritz Library will be running Windows XP. The Microsoft Office Suite will also be upgraded to XP.
