E-mail at UND

One of the first questions new students, faculty, and staff ask upon arriving at UND is, how do I get an e-mail account? Accounts on the U-mail system are available and are activated via the web at: http://www.und.nodak.edu/dept/CC/email.html. You will be able to activate your account if you are a student and have registered for classes at least a day or two ago or if you are full-time benefitted faculty or staff AND have received a paycheck in the most recent payroll. If you are part-time faculty or staff, or have not received your first paycheck,  you will need to stop by the Computer Center offices at Upson II, room 366 to complete a form, once your information has been added into the database you will be able to activate your account.

Configuration information for commonly used e-mail client software is available online at the Computer Center e-mail web page at: http://www.und.nodak.edu/dept/CC/email.html. Instructions for setting up dial-up software are located at: http://www.und.nodak.edu/dept/CC/faq/iaccess.html.

NOTE: Some departments and schools (e.g. Aerospace and the School of Medicine) offer e-mail to their students, faculty, and staff. Please check with them regarding how to obtain and access accounts on their system. (Aerospace Help Desk at 777-4357 or SOM Computer Services at 777-2329.)
