E-mail for Transfer Students

Transfer students new to the NDUS should go ahead and activate a U-mail account. If they transferred from another NDUS school AND already have an e-mail account on Badlands, Plains, or Prairie they may continue to use their accounts but MUST do the following:

Stop by the Computer Center offices with an ID from the school they transferred from and their UND ID to request that the account be transferred to indicate they are now attending UND.

If this step isn't completed by the time the system purges are scheduled, the system will check for the student at the previous school, not find them, and slate their account to be deleted. Purges are usually scheduled a month into the semester allowing plenty of time for students to request the change.
